Nussuaq Zinc

This project is located on the Nuussuaq peninsula close to Avannaa’s Disko Bay core area. This is a Mississippi valley-type carbonate-hosted zinc deposit with up to 30 –35% zinc and 5 million tonnes in place. The host carbonate is the same Marmorlik formation that produced 11 million tonnes at 12% zinc during 1973-1990 from the Black Angel mine 100 km to the north .
2010 work will include structural mapping and site reconnaissance to enable a fast track delineation decision.
