License 2010/32, 405 km2. License 2011/30, 4096 km2.

Avannaa Resources has exclusive exploration rights over 4498 km2 in licenses 2010/32 and 2011/30.

The area is prospective for sedimentary copper in the late Proterozoic Hagen Fjord group. Copper sources are provided by the Zig-Zag Dal basalts and sandstones of the Independence Fjord Group. The exploration builds on observations of copper mineralisation in sandstones and siltstones originally discovered by GEUS and further explored by Avannaa in 2010 and 2011. Results indicate that copper mineralísation is traceable over hundreds of kilometers in certain shale and carbonate units as well as being focused in local fault and breccia zones that may represent feeder systems.
