Completed Successful Field Season in Northwest Greenland

Avannaa has completed a 150 man day program at Karrat Fjord in northwest Greenland. The program followed up on earlier geochemical surveys by the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS). Extensive use was made of hand-held XRF analyzers supplied by Innov-X systems, and these proved an invaluable tool for screening rock and stream-sediment samples for arsenic and other elements that correlate with gold anomalies in the region.
